Proficy Day Poland 2026 – event recap

On June 11, Proficy Day Poland took place in Warsaw. Organized by Velotic, the new home of Proficy software, in partnership with VIX Automation, the event brought together a large group of Proficy users, automation specialists, manufacturing professionals, and digital transformation leaders interested in the latest developments in industrial software.

Velotic – the next chapter for Proficy

Proficy Day Warsaw marked one of the first opportunities for the Polish Proficy community to meet Velotic following the creation of the new company. The visit of Velotic representatives to Poland provided an opportunity to discuss the next chapter in the evolution of industrial software previously developed under GE Vernova.

The event was opened by Mariusz Benna, CEO of VIX Automation, who welcomed Ben Latham, responsible for the development of Solution Provider channel.

In his opening presentation, Ben Latham shared the philosophy behind Velotic – an organization combining the agility of a new company with decades of experience in industrial software. He emphasized that while the company structure has changed, the most important assets remain unchanged: customer trust, a strong installed base, and decades of expertise. These foundations will continue to drive innovation and business value across the Proficy portfolio.

The audience then heard from Velotic expert Michał Jarzyński, who presented Portfolio Vision: What’s Next for Proficy, outlining the future direction of the Proficy ecosystem and setting the stage for the product-focused sessions that followed.

Preview of iFIX 2026 and AI-powered SCADA capabilities

One of the highlights of the event was the SCADA session. Piotr Marynowski from VIX Automation presented a preview of Proficy iFIX 2026 and Operations Hub 2026, demonstrating how the latest technologies help operators and engineers make faster and more informed decisions. An important announcement for Polish users was the upcoming Polish language version of iFIX 2026.

Later, Michał Jarzyński delivered a live demo of the NextGen Experience for Proficy SCADA. Leveraging AI capabilities, the solution enables automatic discovery of data structures, hierarchical system modeling, dynamic visualization generation, and advanced analysis of alarms and operational data, redefining the way engineers interact with HMI/SCADA systems.

Voice of customers

Customer presentations were another important part of the agenda. Paweł Zuber from Molex Phillips Medisize Polska and Damian Ostap from UMA Investments/Kellanova (Pringles manufacturer) shared their experience with Proficy solutions and demonstrated how digital technologies help address everyday manufacturing challenges.

Their presentations added a practical dimension to the event and were followed by a Q&A session moderated by Paweł Czepiel from VIX Automation.

The agenda also included presentations and live demonstrations of Proficy Scheduler and Proficy Smart Factory solutions. Numerous networking opportunities throughout the day allowed participants to exchange ideas and discuss challenges related to digital transformation in manufacturing.

For guests arriving the day before, an informal networking dinner provided an opportunity to reconnect and start discussions even before the official event began.

Proficy Day Warsaw 2026 was more than a series of presentations. It was an opportunity to bring together the Polish Proficy community, exchange experiences, and discuss the future of industrial digital transformation.
